Being the Queen

Beloved Goddess Sisters, something to ponder….

Are we being the Queen in our lives? What does it mean to be a true Queen? What does the Queen Energy feel like?

To me, the QUEEN is my strongest self. The part of me that holds the boundaries in my life. No one treads on me when I am QUEEN of my realm (life). She reminds me to stay in my power. To stay in integrity in all things that I do.

Much more to come in my next post sisters….

Ralph Cramden, in the classic 50′s TV show, The Honeymooners, was always raving to his wife Alice (played by Audrey Meadows), “Alice, I am King of my Castle!!!” As Generation Z I know —– Alice is Queen of the Castle!!!

I found this an intriguing start of an idea, Morrighan, and I’m very eager to hear more of your thoughts on this subject! I shall watch here for new developments.

You’ve got me thinking along those lines. I’ve often been called a “queen bee”, hahaha! although I see myself in much broader terms, heh heh!

    Blessings,

I think it’s an important thing to talk about, especially for younger women who seem to think they might be queen but have quite a bit of growing and self development to achieve before they truly can become a queen. It’s not as simple (I don’t believe) as saying “Hey, I’m a queen”. It’s something worked for and then realized.

I look forward to reading more of your thoughts.

    Blessed Be!

    Morrighan,

Great topic, and I too will look forward to more. I was just contemplating a very similar quetion – not limited to my queendom, but also my witchdom and my medicine womyn-dom. Am I embracing these parts of me if I am not taking action to fully stand in my power – to take care of all parts of me and know that I am doing what I say that am and doing things that match the identity I claim. I am in the process of defining ways that I can bring my queendom/witchdom/medicine womyn-dom more fully into my life with action. This is not my greatest asset. I am a thinker and dreamer. Getting my beautiful womyn butt off the couch is a different story.

    cheers,
    courage
