Womyn Walking the Labyrinth
This past weekend, I attended a 4-days drum camp for womyn only, on the shore of a beautiful lake near the Canadian capital, Ottawa. Women came from Canada and the U.S. for this yearly gathering, a true example of Sisterhood at its best. Scheduled events included beginners and intermediate classes with the djembe, doubek, tar, tambourine, and didgeridoo, as well as singing, relaxation, Native rattle-making, and including a talent showcase, a walk on a sacred labyrinth, and throughout, good food, laughter, the weaving of new bonds and the renewal of old ones. A wonderful time indeed! Goddess-womyn at their best!

I feel the immediacy of the womyn walking the Labyrinth, the zen meditation moment of it all, like being there. . . so in the NOW is this beautiful picture.

Ahhhh…. Blessings of the Goddess to you dear sister! This is so reminiscent to me of joining with other sisters at the Gathering of the Goddess last year. I can feel that Magick was afoot… thank you for sharing! )O(
